Day-to-Day Dispatch

Friday, May 20

Today has been a pretty chill day; we are on our way back. There is no more sediment grabs only fishing going on. While people in the back have been busy fishing, some of us have been lounging in the front, taking naps, dolphin watching, snacking, and looking at all the flying fish. Many families of dolphins have been swimming along with us. When a fish was caught about 20 dolphins gathered around to try and get it; here have been many bottlenose , and Atlantic spinner(or spotted, I have been told both) dolphins. As we try to get home and stay out of the bad weather that is coming the waves have been getting much bigger and anywhere outside is in the splash zone. Even though there is not a ton that needs to be done it is still super fun!

See y’all soon!!
